J Dentner

J. Dentner sadly passed away on September 25, 2017 due to complicaitons of pneumonia. He just went my his initial J. and in the yearbook his photo had J. Randall Dentner.

J “Squirrel” Dentner, age 69, of Columbus, OH, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Grant Medical Center. Born in Columbus to the late Keith and Melva Dentner, he was a graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School, Class of 1967. J was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Always a jokester, he loved to make people laugh. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his brother Greg Dentner. J leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m. MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2017 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where friends may call one hour before the service beginning at 1:00p.m. Danny Vanscoy will officiate the service. Following J’s wishes, his cremated remains will be buried at sea in the Pacific Ocean by the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a memorial contribution in his name be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org. Vicki Kendrick (1967)

so very sorry to hear about jays passing. he really enjoyed the last get together last year. he was a truly nice guy and very polite and funny. he saw the positives in life, which is what we all must try to do. he had a nice lady friend he had met and they were getting along great. he was a great guy and will be missed..... vicki kendrick
