Richard (Lane) Krouse - Class Of 1973

Information from Nancy Ann Krouse Kennedy about her brother:

My brother, Richard Krouse, passed away February 8, 2005 at Mt. Carmel East as the result of a massive stroke. His memorial service was held later that month at Eastview United Methodist Church in Whitehall. Lane (that's what we called him) served in the US Air Force during Viet Nam and received an honorable discharge. Although he had been married 4 times, he had no children and was divorced at the time of his death. Lane worked for many years at Apache Transportation, Brown Transport and Swift Transportation as a dispatcher. At the time of his passing, he had been living in Vermont working as a sales representative for a local cable TV company. He had come home for Christmas and suffered a stroke in the White Castle parking lot the day before the "big ice storm."

KROUSE Richard Lane Krouse, age 50, of Whitehall, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Mt Carmel East Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Sam S. and Anna Belle Krouse. Survived by sisters, Peggy Burney and Nancy A. (Thomas) Kennedy; brother, Phillip A. Krouse; two nieces and one nephew, aunts and uncles. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
