Thomas Rohm - Class Of 1960

Celebrating the Life of Thomas A. Rohm 
Born on June 17, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. Where he lived until he was 5 years old. He was the 1st of 2 children. His parents were George and Polly Rohm.
He attended the following schools: English Village Elementary, Whitehall-Yearling High School, Capital University, Ohio State University, and Southern California Seminary with emphasis in Greek and Hebrew languages. He earned the following degrees: Bachelors, Associates, Masters and Doctorate.

After graduation, he began a career in business management - 20 years. Other industries worked: Professor and Pastor - 25 years.  He retired in 2020 after serving for 25 years. After retirement he was involved in writing Professor's Corner for his church and painting. 

He lived in Columbus, Ohio for 23 years, Long Island, New York for 15 years and San Diego, California for 40 years. He was married to his high-school sweetheart, Merry Joy Hettler on July 20, 1963 at St. Paul's Church. Special Friends: His dear brother Gary Rohm, Dr. Gary Coombs, Dr. George Hare, Pastor Matt Smith and Tommy DeMars. 

He was a member of Shadow Mountain Community Church and Barabbas Road Church. He was a devoted servant to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His favorite hobbies were painting, writing, studying the Bible, listening to music, health and exercise. His favorite music was jazz (Chet Baker and John Coltrane), hymns, classical and Bob Dylan. 

He is survived by: His loving wife, Merry Rohm;  His daughters, Tiffany DeMars and Stacy Pickles. 
His grandchildren: Elizabeth Fieguth, Morrissey Pickles Thornburg, Thomas DeMars, Timothy Pickles, Emma DeMars and Grace DeMars.  His great-grandchildren: Elle Fieguth, Elijah Fieguth and Levi Fieguth; His sons-in-law: Joseph DeMars and Steve Pickles; His grandsons-in-law: Russell Fieguth and Brandon Thornburg
