2017 Homecoming

Over 100 Alumni participated in WYHS 2017 Homecoming Activities on Friday, September 29.

The Rams beat Grandview Heights 24 - 12.  

The weather was great & WYHS Alumni did an impressive job performing with the Marching Band, Aires Flag Team, Ramettes & Baton Twirlers.  Our Alumni Cheerleaders showed us that they still remembered their cheer routines.  Our WYAA special guest was Terry Taxter, 1968, who was crowned WYHS Homecoming Queen in 1967.

 'The Best Ram Band In The Land' ended their great halftime program with a Script RAM.  Kelley Gilbert has done a fantastic job in the short year that she's been WYHS Band Director.

All WYHS Alumni, representing 55 years of graduation classes, stood on the track & were introduced after the 1st Quarter.  It was a fun Homecoming Weekend. 

THANKS to Paul Smathers, Principal, Bill Hughett, Athletic Director, & Kelley Gilbert, Band Director, for their support of WYAA & all our WYHS Alumni.  Go Rams!
