Jerold "Jerry" R. Millington Obituary

Jerold “Jerry” R. Millington, age 81, died Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born January 2, 1943, in Columbus, OH to the late Harold and Evelyn Millington. 

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Barbara Millington (WYHS 1964); daughter, Jennifer “Jamie” Millington; son, Michael Millington; stepsons, Chris (Cindy) Hanes and Jeff (Berenice) Hanes; stepdaughter, Tammy Hanes; numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Dave (Barb) Millington (WYHS 1963), Nancy (Kevin) Henderson (WYHS 1982).  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Millington; sister, Brenda Millington.

Jerry was a graduate of Whitehall-Yearling high school. He proudly served 2 active years with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jerry enjoyed golfing and fishing. He always looked forward to fishing trips with his brother and the boys. Jerry loved nothing more than his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he always looked forward to spending time with them.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2-4pm at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home 650 W. Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 4pm in the funeral home. Online condolences can be found at spencefuneralhome.com.
