John Douglas LaCorte age 70, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026. He was a resident of Whitehall his entire life. Graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School class of 1974. He loved going to Scioto Downs and betting on the ponies. He was a huge sports fan; he knew every stat about every sport and was always right.

Survived by daughters, Brooke (Charles Royer) LaCorte, Kristy (Zack) Little; grandchildren, Carmela, Callie, Charlee, Cooper, Madelyn; mother Roberta “Bertie” LaCorte; siblings, Scott, 1975, (Tammy) LaCorte, Leslie,1980, LaCorte, Amy, 1979, LaCorte, 1990, (Rick) Darnell; aunts, Anna LaCorte Sbrochi, Gretchen (Bob) DeVoe; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by father John Francis LaCorte; sister Heidi LaCorte Mason, 1976, brother Brett LaCorte,1982, nephew Lawrence Douglas Grandy.
