Photos contributed by Stephanie FinotiMiss America Send-Off Show was December 7, 2024 at the WYHS Auditorirum.
Whitehall City Mayor MIchael Bivens & Whitehall's Honor Guard opened the show to honor Pearl Harbor Day & all US Veterans. Performers from Columbus & across Ohio showed their talents. Stephanie Finoti premiered her Miss America ballet & danced her ballet when she won the Miss Ohio Talent Award. Stephanie explained her Miss Ohio-America Community Service Initiative, "That STEM Girl", to help girls from marginalized communities with resources to encourage & help them enter careers to increase diversity in the medical field.
Thanks to Whitehall Alumni from 6 states, Whitehall City Schools' administrators & faculty, Whitehall Comunity Improvement Corp., & other generous donors from across Ohio!
WYAA's GiveSmart website & Send-Off show raised $13k. Those funds were transferred into the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, a 501.c.3 non-profit organzation, who manages & administers all Stephanie's Miss Ohio expenses. Stephanie comepetes for Miss America 2025 December 31- January 5. You can live stream & watch the January 5 Finals on missamerica.org.
