In loving memory of James Michael Chase Mackey, 54, died Tuesday at Doctors West Hospital. Graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School (1969). Michael was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran, serving two tours at Thai Royal AFB as a member of the 8th FMS, assigned to the 16th SOS AC130 Spectre Gunship Squadron in Ubon, Thailand 1971-1973. Preceded in death by parents, James and Phyllis Mackey, grandmother, Zelma Stamper and sister, Susan Fjelsted. Survived by wife, Stacey Marie Watson Mackey; mother-in-law, Jeannine S. Watson; father-in-law, Earl W. Watson; brothers-in-law and fellow veteran, Jeffrey L. Watson (Helen Fleming), Rick (Carolyn) Watson, and Paul Fjelsted and wife; nephews, Joshua and Jarrod Watson; sister-in-law, Velma Wright; many close friends, including Patricia and Michael Petty, Jeneanne and Wayne Atkins and daughter, Madison. Family will hold Private Memorial service at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to CALIMAN FUNERAL SERVICES.
