Joyce Hildenbrand (Turnbull) (1969)
Pam died of breast cancer. She chose to treat her cancer with alternative medicines from Mexico. She was sick at our 1999 reunion but she hadn't lost her hair and looked great with a positive attitude.
She was divorced from Bruce Bartsh (sp) and lived in Colorado. They were childless.
Suzy Juniper, Carolyn Miller, Gail Packard and I were Pam's bridesmaids. My grandmother made all the beautiful bridesmaid dresses and the reception was at Ilonka's. Pammy was the first of my best childhood friends to pass away...a very sad day.
George Heaton (1970)
I grew up next door to the Stewarts, I was playmate and friend to Pam all the way though High School, had big crush on her, but she was a year ahead and out of my league. One of my biggest memories was the 1st day of HS, my freshman year, I want to make sure no one found out my childhood name and from the main hallway from the schools front entrance, I was yo"u front of cafeteria Pam screams "Hey Be Be" "how is it going" I was horrified that whole school hear it. Luckly no one called me Be Be.After Jim's death the Stewart family was there for me Pam and especially Doug her older brother.
Douglas Stewart (1966)
George, Thank you for the kind remarks about Pam. We still miss her dearly. It was sweet of you to remember her this way. Where did that "BeBe" nickname come from anyway?I still think of Jim from time to time. May his memory be a blessing. I hope you are all well and safe. Best wishes, Doug
