John L Colgan, age 64, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 1, 2017. Born on April, 19, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Violet Colgan and the late John Colgan.

John was an employee at Huntington National Bank for 15 years, where he was well loved by all his co-workers. He was an avid hunter and a die-hard Bengals and Ohio State fan, but his ultimate passion was music. John was a DJ for over 30 years for many weddings, corporate and charity events. John was a family man and always made time to volunteer for his daughters' activities whether it be coaching the softball team or moving marching band equipment on the field. John was loved by all he met and his memory will live on through his family and friends.

Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kerri "Sue" Colgan; daughters, Natalie (Michael Watkins) and Mackenzie Colgan; granddaughters, Madelyn and Charlotte Colgan-Watkins; mother, Violet Colgan; Sisters, Darlene (Kevin) Jessup and Sandy (Barry) Hawes; brothers, Allen (Debbie) and Tim (Gail) and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday November 10, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, Ohio, 43232; where a service will be held on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 11am.
