Shirley Mae Huffman 
1949-2022 

Shirley Mae Huffman, age 72, of Catlettsburg, KY, passed from this life on March 7th, 2022, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  

Shirley was born November 4th, 1949, a daughter to the late Glen D. and Donna Bowles Huffman. She was a 1968 graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School in Columbus, OH. She graduated from DeVry University in 1988, and obtained her Pharmacy Technician Degree from ACTC in 2008. Shirley worked as a Pharmacy Technician with Rite-Aid until 2012. Shirley was also a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 499. 
She enjoyed lots of things, but nothing as much as her fur-babies. She had two cats named Morris and Tiny, as well as one dog affectionately known as “Puppy.” 

In addition to her animals, Shirley is survived by one brother Scott Huffman of Catlettsburg, Ky, and a sister Sandra VanDyke and her husband, Gary of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews Rebecca Huffman of Catlettsburg, Ky, Cameron VanDyke of St. Clairesville, OH, and Danny VanDyke of Columbus, OH.
