Keith “Powder Keg” Ballard passed peacefully with his children by his side on October 20, 2021.  Keith is preceded in death by his parents Dale Ballard and Marjorie Ballard (Hoffman) and his grandson Christopher Ballard.

Keith is survived by his four children.  Michelle and Mark from his first marriage from 1971-1978 to Katherine Schleppi (Kehoe) and Lisa (Jeffrey) and Keith II (Anja). from his second marriage of 35 years to Kathy Pidock (Brunney). 

Keith was a proud grandfather to Christopher, Hayden, Hunter, Hannah, Lilly, Logan, Brianna, Tyler, Trai, Chantelle, Austin, Layla, Piper, and Anna. He was also a great grandfather to Madison, Alexander, Benjamin, Dominick. Keith’s hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson, drinking Budweiser from a frosty, cold mug, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, and golf.  Keith also had a fondness for animals and was the proud dog owner to Sugar, Cookie, Thunder, Bear, Nelly, Holly, and Zoe, and a skunk he would walk on a leash, and the only cat he ever loved, Sparky.

Please join us for his memorial visitation on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 6pm-8pm, at The Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main Street Kirkersville, OH 43033.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center, 4340 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229, to support Keith’s strong interest in shelter pet adoption.
