Randy sadly passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.


Randall L. Hoar, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019. Friends and family may call Monday 5-8 PM at EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, 11:00, with Rev. Douglas Hahn officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, 4737 Winchester Pike, Groveport, OH 43125. He served 21 years in the Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a Deputy Sheriff for Franklin County from 1999 until his death. He loved woodworking, hanging out with his grandchildren and the dogs. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, was an avid reader and a videogame player. Preceded in death by his brother Donald Hoar. Survived by his wife, Colleen Hoar; Daughter, Sarah (Seth) Coey; Sons, Terry (Christina) Hoar, Randall Hoar II, Christopher (Paige) Hoar; Grandchildren, Zander, Vivian, Delilah-Ann, Emma; Parents, Terry and Leora Hoar; Four legged friends, (his baby) Daisy, Tizzy, Smokey; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry Hoar, Randall Hoar II, Sarah Coey, Christopher Hoar, Seth Coey and Deputy Greg Bishop. Honorary Pallbearer will be Terry Hoar.
