Nancy J Dietz
Nancy Dietz (née Knoblauch), born in 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, went home to the Lord on May 23, 2026.
She graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School, with a certificate from Eastland Vocational School, then pursued her higher education at Franklin University.
A life long hobby of crafting gave Nancy joy; one she would share with daughter Katy. Quilting was a huge passion for Nancy. She leaves behind gorgeous quilts with her beloved Sewing Sisters Quilt Club.
In 1978 Nancy married Bill Dietz. Bill and Nancy often spent their time serving God through their church. They also loved Sci Fi and double bid euchre.
Nancy is predeceased by her mother, Sylvia Knoblauch, and father, Paul Ewing Knoblauch as well as sisters Janet Knoblauch and Mary Jane Knoblauch. Nancy is also predeceased by her husband, Bill Dietz, who passed on May 6, 2026, 17 days before Nancy's death. .
Nancy is survived by her brothers Don Koblauch, Paul (Kim) Knoblauch, and Leo Knoblauch. She is also survived by her beloved daughter Katy Smith, her husband Will Smith, and grandkids Ryleigh Smith, Kole Smith, and McKinlee Smith.
Nancy’s life will be celebrated on June 13, 2026 at 12 p.m. It will take place at the Miami Township Civic Center in the Mulberry Room in Milford, Ohio.
