McLaughlin, Mary Theresa

1953 - 2021

Mary Theresa McLaughlin passed away in Columbus, Ohio on Dec. 19, 2021 at the age of 68. She had a career of over 35 years as a Supply Chain Management professional. She worked for The Wendy's Company for 24 years and she retired in 2019 from a position in Purchasing for White Castle. She was a member of the Institute for Supply Chain Management. Mary volunteered and donated at Holy Family Soup Kitchen in Columbus, Ohio as well as many local animal shelters. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, James McLaughlin, mother Nora McLaughlin, brother James McLaughlin, and her beloved cats. She is survived by her brother Gerald McLaughlin, sister in-law Margaret McLaughlin, nieces Mary Beth McLaughlin, and Annie McLaughlin, and nephew Robert McLaughlin. Mary was also blessed with many close friends. She had countless stories of joyous moments spent with her friends, many of whom were there to support her through the last months few months of her life. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 893 Hamlet St, Columbus, OH 43201 with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery 6440 S.
