Richard L. Smathers "Rick", age 68, passed away on June 26, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Father Lee Roy smathers and Mother Glenna Jean Early. He is survived by his Daughter Joanna Phillips; & Sons Christopher Smathers and Todd Smathers (Brooke); Grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Ashlee, Alta, and Cameron; Brother Steven(Georgia) and Sister Carol Hannon (Rick); nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday June 29, 2015 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral home at 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's name to Motts Military Museum in Groveport, Ohio.
