GEVAS Brian D. Gevas, age 38, of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio to Danny Gevas and Carol (Gillespie) Salvito. Brian graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School, and was employed at Honda for eleven years. On May 22, 2004 he married Wendy A. (Noland) Gevas. Brian is survived by his wife, Wendy A. Gevas, age 31 of Marion, OH.; father, Danny Gevas of Columbus, OH.; mother and step-father, Carol and Johnny Salvito of Whitehall, OH.; his three children, Taylor A. Gevas, age 17, Carson M. Gevas, age 15, and Brian J. Gevas, age 13, all of Powell, OH.; a sister, Lea Workman of Whitehall, OH.; one niece and one nephew also survive. Funeral service for Brian will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011, 8 p.m. at the BOYD-BORN FUNERAL HOME, 122 W. Columbia St., Marion, OH., with Rev. Phil Williams officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
