Chad Thomas Wedekind, age 39, of Columbus, died suddenly on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School. Volunteer at the Ross Heart Hospital. Chad was devoted to his family, proud to be a new father, a passionate sports fan and an avid golfer. Preceded in death by grandparents Burl and Virginia Wedekind, Thomas and Louise Wonser. Survived by spouse, Julie Brown; infant son, Kenneth Chad; parents, Michael W. and Linda D. Wedekind; brother, Todd (Laura) Wedekind; sister, Tiffany (Matthew) Petrosky; nephews, Boston, Zach and Cameron; other relatives and many special friends.
