Two adults and a child died in a fire this morning at a house in New Lexington in Perry County.

Two adults and a child died in a fire this morning at a house in New Lexington in Perry County.

The fire was reported to the Perry County sheriff’s office at 1:56 a.m., according to a release from New Lexington police.

When police and firefighters responded to 327 Elizabeth St., flames were coming from the first floor of the two-story house. The victims were found in upstairs bedrooms.

WRIGHT Kathryn (Katy) Wright, age 36, and son Eric Andrew Wright, age 13, went to heaven together Sunday, May 23, 2010. Katy attended Ohio Dominican College. She was named Who's Who of American College Students and American High School Students. She was an early childhood educator much beloved by her many students who lives she touched. She loved art, music, literature, history and travel. She loved her son Eric beyond all else. Eric was a student and band member of General Sherman Junior High School, Lancaster. He loved art, music, traveling, video games and going to the lighthouse at Marblehead with his mother. He delighted in his sister, Aria. They are survived by mother and grandmother, Nancy Marshall; father and grandfather, Mike Marshall and step-mother and grandmother, Ok Marshall; Eric's father and step-mother, Jason and Camille Wright; his grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Wright; his great-grandmother, Ruth Wright; his sister, Aria Wright; Kathryn's sister, Mary; her grandmothers, Lucille Winslow and Virginia Marshall; many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by grandfathers and great- grandfathers Jeane Edwin Winslow, Harold Raymond Marshall, his great-grandfather Elisha Luther Wright, her much loved great aunt and uncle Peachie and Harold Thompson of Plain City, Ohio. Funeral service Friday 1 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Mike O'Bryant officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
