In Memory

Kathy Fjelsted - Class Of 1966

Kathleen May Fjested Napper

Kathleen May Napper of Lehigh Acres, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 13, 2013 following a brief illness. She was only 64 years old.

Kathleen was born on May 20, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the beautiful daughter of her mother Iva M. Peterson and her father Claire W. Fjelsted.

She spent her life in service to the Lord and was dedicated to spreading the Good News. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church and spent many years as a teacher at Sunday School. She will always be remembered fondly as a loving mother, a caring Christian and a positive person who touched many souls along life's journey.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother Iva Fjelsted; her son Mark Napper (Kim) and daughter April Smith (Robert); her grandchildren Kyle, Brittany, Auburn and Riese Napper and Kayla, Kolton, Kirstin and Kristopher Smith; her brothers Paul and Sid Fjelsted; her nieces Amy Potter, Amanda Haak and Angie Roshon and by her nephews Todd Fjelsted, Brad Roshon and Luke Fjelsted. She was recently preceded in death by her sister Pam Fjelsted (who passed away on May 9, 2013) but will be remembered fondly by her extended family and a multitude of friends.

A Visitation will be conducted from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 215 Richmond Avenue N., Lehigh Acres, Florida, (239) 368-7897. A Memorial Service will then be celebrated at 7:00 PM in the Church by Pastor AJ Neugebauer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you instead consider a contribution to Beautiful Savior Church in her memory. They also ask you to abide by Kathleen's wishes by not wearing black to the services, but by wearing her favorite color of green instead.
