Linda Denise Briggs (Spear) (1966)
Anne Elizabeth Golnik, 53, of Maumelle, AR, died at 12:30PM, on Saturday, February 2, 2002, in Fulton, KY, following a four-year illness with ovarian cancer.
For the past two years, she was the Community Planning and Development Director of the Arkansas State Office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She was well known for her professionalism and expertise on HUD, Community Planning andDevelopment programs. Her determination, courage and ability to continue working and living life to the fullest throughout her illness, was an inspiration to all who knew her. Through her personal and professional relationships across the country, she touched many lives, and will be deeply missed
Originally from Memphis, TN, she is survived by her husband, Steven Reed Golnik of Maumelle, AR; three sons, Michael (Kim) Kinder of Birmingham, AL; Dan (Barbara) Kinder of San Diego, CA; and David (Lesley)Kinder of North Little Rock, AR; one step-daughter, Roanna (Tim) Mikko of St.Louis, MO; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Her mother, Kate Anne Hood, of Fulton, KY; her father, Earl Hood, of Zachary, LA; and her honorary brother, Joe W. Hill of Fulton, KY, also survive her.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Maumelle. Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton, KY, is handling funeral arrangements. A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery on Highway1125 in Fulton, KY, on Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at 2:00 P.M.
