Tracy Beckman - Class Of 1974

Tracy S. Beckman, age 67, of Pickerington, went home to the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2023 surrounded by family. Born August 19, 1956 in Columbus to the late Frederick "Spook" Beckman and Marilyn (Smith) Niles. He was a 1974 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School and a proud member of the high school tennis team. Tracy was the founder of Beckman XMO and retired as its President in 2022 after 43 years of service.
He was a 35-year member of Charity Newsies, volunteering primarily at the corner of Livingston and James Rd with his father and friends. Additionally, Tracy was a dedicated board member of the Printing Industry of Ohio.
Before his passing, Tracy wanted three things to be acknowledged at his funeral and in his obituary. First, he adored and deeply loved his wife, Sherry. They first met in 1986 and Tracy knew she would have a large impact on his life. Over 35 years of marriage, his love for her never waivered and he felt like the luckiest man alive to share his life with her. Then, he loved his boys, Brian, Alex, Derek, and Connor, and was proud to be their dad. Tracy was passionate about supporting his boys in their various sports endeavors and loved watching them grow into the young men they are today. He felt incredibly lucky to have been blessed with his boys. Finally, Tracy was extremely proud of his company, Beckman XMO. Selflessly, he contributed much of its success to his dedicated employees, Scott, Pam, David, Greg, Dwayne, and Jessie, who remain at the company to this day. He loved his guys and thought of them like family. Tracy was a gregarious, kind, and silly soul who touched many lives. Those who were lucky enough to know him, all feel blessed to have had him in their lives.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Beckman; sons, Brian (Marcia Jacobs) Beckman, Pickerington, Alexander (Mattea) Beckman, Grove City, Derek Beckman, Cincinnati, Connor (Katherine) Beckman, New Jersey; granddaughter, Kennedy; and sister, Debbi McComb, New Albany.
