Funeral services, celebrating the life of Barbara Lee Isenbarger Dehus, 78, of Columbus, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Nic Ventura as celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. Barbara passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the home of her sister following a brief period of declining health. She was born in Columbus on June 16, 1940, to the late Merle and Alberta (Mullins) Isenbarger. She was a graduate of Whitehall-Yearling H.S., class of 1958, and enjoyed a long career with Ohio Bell A.T. & T., where she retired as an analyst after 34 years. Barbara was a good, kind person, who cared deeply for others. She is survived her loving family: her sister Sally Deckard of Millersport; brother Kenneth Isenbarger of Powell and his wife Renee; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rometta Everman, and her niece Julie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
