William Herbert Flowers, 80, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at his home in Cambridge.

William was born April 1, 1942, in Whitehall, a son of the late Lester and Mary Catherine (Barrett) Flowers.

Mr. Flowers worked for Western Electric where he was a supervisor and later retired. He was a former member of the Masons Blue Lodge and enjoyed golf. William was a US Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Joan (Richard) Schmidt.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Snider) Flowers, whom he married on November 17, 1962, his son Aaron Riley Flowers and his nephews, James (Mary) Schmidt and Robert (Barbara) Schmidt.

Calling hours will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with the service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
