Jerry B. Amos, 52, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Suzanne Lindsey Jenkins of Dresden and the late Gerald Benny Amos. 

Jerry was a Persian Gulf Army Veteran, a member of the Amvets Post #1985 in Lancaster and the American Legion Post #11 in Lancaster.

He is survived by his son, Maxwell Greene of Circleville; sisters, Cathi Pentella of Newark, Lori Roberts of Columbus, Jennifer (Gregory) Lupo of Hida-A-Way-Hills and Christi (Scott) Csaky of Richmond, Virginia and his beloved pets, Sammy and Buddy the dog.

In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ohmer Jenkins.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Jerry B. Amos to the Hocking County Humane Society, P.O. Box 863, Logan, Ohio 43138.
