Brenda J. Borgan, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 14th,

2025. She is preceded in her heavenly journey by parents, Phyllis Jean Turner and

Darrell Marden Todd.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Garey W. Borgan; son

Joel (Cortney); son, Kyle (Stacy); son, Alex (Jacalyn); daughter, Gina (Joe Snyder);

Grandchildren, Harper, Sumner, Adelaide, Arlene, Eleanora and Bennett. Brenda

is also survived by her brother, Randall M. Todd, WYHS 1977, (Jennifer), and many aunts,

uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brenda graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1979 and held a bachelor’s

degree in Accounting from Franklin University. She worked in the aircraft industry

for 10 years at Rockwell International, then McDonnell Douglas. She later

transitioned to Property Casualty Insurance, where she worked for the next 25

years— first at Motorists Insurance, then Nationwide Insurance. She retired from

Nationwide in February 2021.

Brenda was a partner at Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington, where she

served on many committees, including the Food Team, GRACE BY MAIL and Grace

Kids. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025. Visitation will

take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the service beginning at 12:00 PM. A

meal will be provided immediately following the service. All who knew and loved

Brenda are warmly invited to attend.

Brenda wishes to acknowledge the compassionate care she received in the last

couple of years from her doctors and their healthcare teams: Dr. Shakir Sarwar,

Ohio Health; Dr. Yvonne Efebera, Ohio Health; Dr. Srinivas Devarakonda, OSU The

James. She also wishes to thank the Ohio Health Infusion Clinic team at

Pickerington Methodist Hospital for their months of friendship and

encouragement.
