Rae Peyton, 68, died Friday, April 26, 2013. Rae retired as a teacher from Columbus Public Schools. After her retirement, she worked at the State Farm New Albany Operations Center. She attended Vineyard Columbus in Westerville. Preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Wanda Peyton. Survived by her brother, Bill Peyton (Barbara); daughter, Kimmie Sammons; and grandson, Malik (M&M) Sammons. Several cousins also survive. Rae loved and adored her family and friends, and fun and laughter were her tools for enjoying life. Friends may call Monday, April 29, 2013 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd (at Beecher Rd), Gahanna, where a Celebration of Life will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Andy Saperstein officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
