San Francisco Chronicle - December 18, 2008

Rae Ellen Michael Chang, aged 59, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at her home in Foster City, CA.  Rae was born on March 6, 1949 in Coshocton, Ohio to Mildred L. Bender Michael and Harold J. W. Chang.  They were married on April 27, 1979 and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area with a four year sojourn in Kansas City, MO, while Wesley attended the School of Dentistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Following his graduation, the young couple returned to Foster City, CA, where Rae worked full time raising the couple's two wonderful children and served as a docent volunteer at the Coyote Point Children's Museum.

Rae is survived by her husband Wesley of 29 years; her daugjter Laura Michelle Chang; and her son Patrick Michael Chang, all of Foster City, and her cousins Jan Roahrig and Marla Livingston of Coschocton, Ohio.
