Survived By: Billy was survived by his wife of 37 years, Terry Witt, children: Billy (Shannon) Witt, Brandon (Julie) Witt, Jenifer (Christian Dupree) Witt and Jeremy (Kimmie) Witt. Grandkids: Kobe, Bailey, Karter, Kyson, Bentley, Brady, and Kyndal Witt. Mother: Matilda Gloria Witt. Sister: Cyndi Rockwell, and many nieces and nephews.

Complete obituary: Billy R. Witt Jr., age 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 1, 2019. He was surrounded by his wife and kids. Billy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terry Witt, children: Billy (Shannon) Witt, Brandon (Julie) Witt, Jenifer (Christian Dupree) Witt and Jeremy (Kimmie) Witt. Grandkids: Kobe, Bailey, Karter, Kyson, Bentley, Brady, and Kyndal Witt. Mother: Matilda Gloria Witt. Sister: Cyndi Rockwell, and many nieces and nephews. It was no secret, Bill’s kids and grandkids were the highlight of his life. He loved spending time outside. Whether on the ballfields cheering on the kids, or standing on a bank fishing. Bill loved to help anyone and everyone who needed it, and would sacrifice himself to make sure the people he cared about were taken care of first. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Fire Church (Church On The Move), 901 S. Railroad Ave. Wellston, OH 45692. A dinner with food and fellowship will follow at Grace Baptist Church located at 240 S. New York Ave., Wellston, OH 45692. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson and Southern Ohio Cremation Services.
