Carlos "Dean" Slagle, 67, Westerville, passed away at home, Saturday, January 2, 2021. Surrounded by his loving family. Dean was born February 23, 1953, to Lewis and Marie Slagle. Preceded in death by his parents, son Jason Slagle, brother Roger Slagle. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Brenda; daughters, Lynnette (Scott) Cowgill and Jessica (Ben) Bair; mother-in-law, Lena DeAngelo; sister and brother-in-law, Janice (Archie) Snyder; niece, Raelena (Doug) Hosey; great nieces, Kayelyn, Olivia and Ave Robinson; grandchildren, Paige Etzler (Brandon Bryant), Maci and McMillen, Triston Cowgill, Jason, Lilly and Evelyn Bair; great grandchildren, Layla and Caiden Bryant; sisters, Sharon (Ken) Hedrick and Marilyn (Ricki) McMasters; good friends, Bob Hamilton, John Wolfe and Debbie Wolfe. Dean is retired from 2K General. Dean was a member and legion of the Worthington Moose Lodge 1427. Friends may call Thursday, January 7 from 5-8pm at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., where service will be held Friday, January 8 at 10am. Rev. Jim Meacham officiating; interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
