Irvin "Bob" Reichgott - Class Of 1958

Irvin Robert Reichgott "Rosie" "Bob", was 80 yrs old at his passing on January 28, 2021. He was born March 15th 1940.

Bob dedicated his life to his family and his law enforcement family. He retired as a freeway patrol officer from the Columbus Police department after 36 years of service. He also served the Whitehall police department for the first 5 years of his career. Bob served his beloved Whitehall community as a school bus driver for 4 years.

Bob was such a loving and compassionate person. Always willing to do for others and offer a smile and hug to anyone he met. He's left an incredible legacy for all of us to aspire too.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Kita Reichgott

Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie; children Shirley (Annie) Mendenhall, Max (wife Melanie), James (wife Kim). grandchildren Jesse (wife Tiffany) Brooks, Nicole Mendenhall, Jeremy Cain, Aaron Cain, Justin Dowler, Martin Dowler, and Caitlyn Dowler along with 5 great grand children.

Bob's family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 East Main Street Reynoldsburg where a Fraternal Order of Police Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio.

Stan Reichgott (1966)

My one and only sibling, my truly big brother, is resting in peace - and I remain devastated over his passing in late January, 2021. May his memory be for a blessing!

Max Reichgott (1989)

My Dad, Irvin Robert(Rosie) Reichgott, was the first caretaker of the Ramsey, the Whitehall Ram Mascot. He will be missed by me and my family immensely. Dad, I love you So much.
