Robert, 77, of Sanford, Florida was born in Clearfield, PA and graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School, Whitehall, Ohio in 1965. He joined the Air Force after graduation and received an honorable discharge in 1968.

Robert was a Business Agent for the Teamsters Local 385, Union Liaison for Freeman Decorating, and finally, Transportation Coordinator for Trimble Logistics.

He had a love for music and singing. In 1995, he started a band "Boots+Barstools". He was the lead singer and Frontman of the band. He retired the band after 15 years of success.

Robert was married to Carol (Williams) Daugherty in 1968 and they remarried in 1991. Their story was a journey of true love and devotion.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; G. Robert Daugherty and Evelyn (Ogden) Daugherty, a younger sister; Patricia Tripp (James), brother-law James Tripp, and a son; Darren Daugherty. He is survived by his wife; Carol, three sons; Jason, Joel and Stephen, daughter; Kristin Wolfe (Rob), a younger sister, Janis Daugherty Outland, an older sister; Judy Robb (Bill) A younger sister; Janis Outland, and nine grandchildren; Alexandra, Brianna, Keeghan, Bryant, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Logan, Makenzie and Jacob. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Robert was a longtime member and President of the Florida Country Music Association, Loyal Order of Moose, DAV and the Sanford Yacht Club.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Robert will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771, followed by a Memorial Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
