Celebrating the Life of Edmund Swiger

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edmund Swiger, who left this world peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 71. Surrounded by family and love.Born on July 31, 1954, in Whitehall Oh. Eddie was the only son of Edmund and Sarah Swiger.

Eddie greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife & best friend Linda Ludwig, WYHS 1969, of 45 yrs. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and unconditional love. His children, Zachary (Emily) and Travis (Brittany) and his beloved grandchildren, Addison and Alexis, were the heart of his world.

Eddie also enjoyed hunting & riding his motorcycle.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories he gave us.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Pickerington. All who knew and loved him are welcome.

He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with deep, abiding love.
