It's been a month now since I started my new job as. Cybersecurity Specialist at American Electric Power!

Blessed to have finally landed a job in the industry I've been going to school for since my career center days.

Cybersecurity is extremely difficult to break into at this time in the job market, so landing a cyber job is a pretty big deal among others in the tech industry.

I graduated from Columbus State Community College with an A.A.S in Cybersecurity. Next step is to continue on for a bachelors at Western Governors University.

Received a promotion and raise at my current employer! I'm now a Shared Services Engineer where I focus on multiple sectors of IT to maintain the infrastructure and security of the enterprise.

I haven't graduated yet and I'm a big step closer to my dream role, waiting for this December to graduate with my AAS of Cyber Security and hopefully continue on for BA!.
