Randy Koscho - Class Of 1965

Randy “Rando” Koscho, 75, of Largo, FL (Whitehall, Ohio) passed away May 28th, 2023 peacefully at home.

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School, Class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War where received a Purple Heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Cecilia Koscho and his brother, Ronnie L. Koscho. Randy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Victoria G. Koscho; Daughters, Renee L. Conner (Scott) and Kelly R. Chanak (Drew); Stepson, Thomas W. Gitchel Jr.; Siblings, Marty L. Shortland and Ricky L. Koscho (Diane); Grandchildren, Courtney Followay (Paul), Nick Conner, Clint Conner (Molly), Alyssa Toronto (Alex), Kaylee Toronto, Tiffanee Gitchel (Seth) & Tommy Gitchel; Great Grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, Lily, Mila & Hadlee.

Randy was a huge fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes & the Cincinnati Bengals. He enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, gambling, collecting antiques/sports memorabilia, sunsets on the beach and spending quality time with his family & friends. He was an avid animal lover and didn’t know a stranger. Always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a very contagious energy and was known to make others laugh. He was a true one of a kind and will be remembered forever by all who knew him.

In Florida, Randy’s Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 2nd at 6pm at the Holiday Shores Clubhouse located at 10289 Paradise Dr. Largo, FL 33773.

In Ohio, Randy’s Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 at 3:30pm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) located at 4100 E. Main St. Whitehall, Ohio 43213.
