Trent Gardner - Class Of 1970

RAY – Trent William Gardner, 66, of Ray, passed away on Thursday morning May 10, 2018, after a courageous battle with silicosis.
He was born on Dec. 15, 1951 in Columbus to Jack and Juanita Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father Jack and his eldest son Michael W. Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carol A. Gardner, whom he married on Aug. 5, 1978. He is also survived by his son Trent J. Gardner; daughter Christina A. Saracco; son-in-law Scot D. Saracco; brother Randy Gardner and Barbara Hanna of Pasadena, California; sister Jan and Jean-Claude Blanchard of South Carolina; grandchildren Thomas and Lacey Campbell, Kolton Gardner, Peyton Gardner; and many more family and friends, including his furry companion Sissy.
Trent had a deep love for the great outdoors. In his youth, he explored the West, climbed many mountains and experienced nature at its best. Always by his side was his loyal travel companion and man’s best friend, Babes. Trent loved skiing, hiking, fishing, camping and telling stories of years gone by around a campfire. Some of his passions in life included writing music, playing his guitar, spending time with his loving family and sitting on the porch swing with his wife sipping coffee together.
He was a very kind and loyal person that will be deeply and terribly missed by all who knew him. No services will be observed at this time. There will be a “Celebration of Life” for family and friends at a later date.
“In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
-The Beatles-
