Savana Lynn Carrier, age 20, unexpectedly taken on December 17, 2016. 2015 Graduate of W.Y.H.S. Currently attending Salon Schools. Preceded in death by grandparents Cheryl Strait, Charles Carrier, Phillip Strait III, uncle Tony Carrier. Survived by parents, Michelle and Scott; siblings, Jeremy and Jennifer; grandparents, Karin Carrier and Mike (Jeanne) Winegardner; Beloved "Love of her life", Shawn Hoover; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a family of friends. Franklin County sheriff’s deputies said the roads were wet and icy when a 20-year-old woman was struck and killed on I-270 early this morning.

Savana Carrier, 20, of Columbus was driving east on I-270 west of I-71 in Jackson Township about 12:10 a.m. when she went off the road and became stuck.Carrier got out of her vehicle and was standing on the side of the road when a car driven by David J. Dennis Jr., 45, of Chillicothe also went off the road. Dennis’ vehicle struck Carrier. She died at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center.
