Brent served in the U.S. Army and was assigned as an MP in Vietnam. He had retired from Lucent Technologies in Columbus, OH. He lettered in Varsity Baseball at WYHS. He was a lifetime good and generous friend to many, with his great wit and charm and a very cerebral sense of humor. 

SEYMOUR Brent Allen Seymour, age 66, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away January 13, 2012. He was born September 22, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Burl and Mary (DeNune) Seymour. Brent served in the U.S. Army and had retired from Lucent Technologies. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Polli) Seymour; brother, Keith (Sandy) Seymour; sister-in-law, Jane (Richard) Strohm; nephews, Shannon and Kyle Seymour, Jeff (Amy) Strohm and Tim (Alexa) Strohm; great-nieces and nephews, Keegan, Reese, Ella and Brayden. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 2545 Farmers Dr., Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43235.
