Walter Vaughn Munk, 76 passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, but was a long time resident of Fishkill, NY. 

Walter served in the Air National Guard and in his early years he worked for the Chicago Police Dept.; but for many years worked for Metro North Commuter Railroad where he retired. 

Survived by his wife Phyllis Dick Munk; children Sean (Jacquelyn) Munk and Rebecca (Richard) Shaffer, sister Melanie Davis; grandchildren; Timothy Gleis, Alison and Brandon Munk; and Ryan Shaffer.
