John P. Burdiss, age 73, of Pickerington, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born November 13, 1948 in Columbus to the late George H. and Clara R. Burdiss. He was a 1966 graduate of Whitehall High School and served in the U.S. Army. John was a retired sergeant with the Whitehall Police Department with 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lois Burdiss; daughters, Stacy Burdiss and Stephanie (Jason) Eberhart; granddaughter, Riley Eberhart; and sister, Diane (Jay) Hout.
Private services and interment will be held for the family at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may contribute to their favorite charity in John’s memory.
