Stephanie "Steffi" Gaiser, Class of 1975, is celebrating her 50th Anniversary
in the OSU Marching Band. She is also one of the 1st women to play in TBDLITL!
In 1973 the OSU Marching Band allowed women to audition for the 1973/74 school year band. Only 5 women were selected, but only 1 'marched' because the other 4 women were 'alternates'. Steffi 'marched' all 4 years in the OSU Marching Band playiing the trombonium, an upright trombon begning in the Band's 1975-76 season through 1979-80 seasons. She's been marching in the OSU Alumni Reunion Band for decades after she graduated. Saturday, October 3, is Steffi's 50th Anniversary marching in TBDLITL!
Congratulations & Welcome back to Columbus!
