* WYAA Supports Gear Up & Go 2.0 *
Over 600 students & their families attended Gear Up & Go 2.0 on Saturday, August 9 @ Rosemore. Thanks to Discover for sponsoring, coordinating & providing vendors who gave FREE: food; veggies & fruit from OSU farms; Cradles to Crayons (back packs & new clothes for families), Lowe’s who provided household items, the Thomas Medors Foundation (gently-used clothes) & United Way. 
WYAA was one of Discover’s sponsors by creating the event's website; DJ, Jennifer Miller, 1991 & WYHS alumni volunteers helped shoppers & provided 800 shopping bags!   Thanks to: Deb Orr Johnston, 1970; Claire Wilson Cooper, 1993 & daughter; Jodie Martin-Oiler, 1966, & friend Marie; & Nic Rosales
